Rituals & Worship

Who is Bhagwan Naminatha ?

🙏 Follow the Traditional Step-by-Step Process for Daily Worship of Naminatha

1. Purification (Snatra Puja)

Begin with personal cleanliness, wearing clean clothes, and focusing the mind with prayer. Devotees often perform Abhishek (ritual bathing) of Naminatha Ji’s idol using water, milk, or sandalwood, symbolizing purity of body and soul.

2. Offering (Arghya & Puja)

Offer flowers, sandalwood paste, incense, rice, and lamps before the idol of Bhagwan Naminatha Ji. These offerings represent surrender, devotion, and respect for his divine qualities.

3. Recitation (Stavan & Sutra)

Chant Jain hymns (Stavan) and sacred sutras that glorify Bhagwan Naminatha Ji. Recitation inspires inner peace, strengthens faith, and helps devotees focus on his spiritual message of compassion and truth.

4. Meditation (Samayika & Dhyana)

Sit silently and reflect on the teachings of Bhagwan Naminatha Ji, who renounced royal comforts to pursue enlightenment. Meditate on values of Ahimsa (non-violence) and Aparigraha (non-possession), aligning thoughts with the soul’s journey.

5. Aarti & Pradakshina

Complete the worship with Aarti (lighting lamps in devotion) and Pradakshina (circumambulating the idol or shrine). This act symbolizes gratitude, respect, and surrender to Bhagwan Naminatha Ji, the 21st Tirthankara.

Aarti of Naminatha

Traditional evening aarti
